Hey guys I have finally made the upgrade to the Tf10's this month along with the cowon s9, I have only owned them for a few weeks and there are some problems that i need to ask about.

Firstly the transperant light blue casing at the top of the tf10 has started to come of on one side, when I was removing the tips that part of the case decided to go with it.

Now im unsure if i should just leave it or if it needs to be sent back to warrenty. I'm not very impressed with the build quality so far.

The other issue was with the cowon s9. With "random" Flac files i get a really loud static sound at the same parts of every song. It is loud enough to make it not worth listening to.

Other then these problems i am impressed with triple drivers and will never go back to my se210's.

Any ideas and suggestions would be apreciated.
Thanks.

Another thing is are there any good places where i can get cheap impressions for a remold with UM, that is the other option to going with warrenty. I live in Queensland Australia so I am unsure if I can get impressions done hear.

Hi and welcome to Head-Fi.

You should send your TF10P's back to be repaired or replaced under warranty. That's what your warranty is for. It's a shame this has happened because I think they're great sounding phones.

Best of luck.

i just had impressions done and mailed off my tf10's to Unique Melody in China.
You can get them done at an audiologist. and a reminder to ask for cotton dams and a bite block.
I'm having mid drivers added to mine btw =D

You might ask around on iAudiophile.net about your Cowon, there is a whole forum for the S9. I've never had that problem but I don't have a lot of FLACs on it, either.
