Well, just about 2 hours left in earphonesolutions' 15% off sale.
I think I've decided to spring for the more expensive iems instead of trying to buy both a slightly lesser set of iems and a headphone amp right now.
Now I've just got to finalize the decision between the W3s and UMX3s. I may start with the W3s. The fact that I can exchange the Westones within 30 days gives me some comfort about that decision, if I find them a bit to tweeked for my taste on the high and low end, I can always swap out for the UM3X.
I also decided that I may start reading up a bit more on a possible amp for my Beyerdynamic DT990s for a future purchase. No use trying to stretch $350too thin and being slightly disappointed on both fronts when I can cover one well today and give myself another one to pursue in the future.
