I got my cans as a present.
I do and listen music, on my computer.

I currently own an Edirol UA-25ex with Tapco's S8 + S10 hooked up to it.
Found myself in a situation, where my music sessions will disturb other people in the flat.

Haven't had the occasion to try my new cans with the Edirol yet, although it is not a phone amp, so I expect it won't be able to drive them well.

Stumbled across Beresdorf 7520 and the Topaz. Torn between the two, as they're in my price range at the moment.

Anyone had experiences with the mix of the DAC's and the AKG's?

Maybe you know some other, better options for me?

Oh, portability not really an issue for me, I'd rather have it AC powered.


PS. What would be the best way to connect a new DAC to the pre-existing setup? Straight into the USB or through toslink to the Edirol? How would that affect the signal?
