Hi everyone,
I just got a pair of UE superfi 5's(non-pro's) and was wondering how big of a difference therewould be between those and the Klipsch X10's. Both are straight out of an ipod but if theres a suggestion for an amp on the superFi's im all ears.
Thanks

I had the UE 5 and I like the X10 a lot better. Bigger bass and very warm. UE 5 highs were strong but fatiguing after a while for me.

The Fiio E1 is really cheap ($20) and sound very clean an transparent. iBasso T4 sounds good with both and adds dynamic warmth. (+$100)

Just pointing out that the X5 will provide enough bass IMO, and great all around performance lows, mids, and highs. I feel that because the X10 is priced higher and is physically smaller that people believe it is the "better-sounding" IEM and forget the X5.

I find the X5 compared to be more controlled on the lower end, and a bit cleaner than the X10, plus it's a $100 cheaper retail. Just a consideration

I've auditioned both the X5 and X10 at a local store, and I also preferred the X5's more controlled bass response. It also fit my ears better, the X10 felt like it was going all the way into my brain.
