Happy to see someone unabashedly still happy with his JH16's - I am as well.

New arrangement as of February 2015:

UM Mentor Universal (FINALLY, the sound has settled and grown on me. Very fun, huge soundstage, clear and fits like a bullet in a chamber.)

Glad the Mentors finally opened up to you! Great sound, eh?

1. VE6 x2
2. UM Legacy
3. UERM
4. Earsonics S-EM6
5. Tralucent 1+2
6. maybe K10

too bad i still haven't got a chance to audition SE5

Fitear (334, 335) has one of the worse bass I've ever heard. Bloated, uncontrolled and loose. The only decent one was 333 and it was still a far way from JH 13's bass. All Fitear has is exaggerated mids and nothing else.

oops typo, I meant earsonics. I agree with you fitear's bass are not as punchy but they do fill the entire space. unless for someone who's into this kind of bass i think you are right about them being bloated and loose. Only auditioned fitear a few times and have to say I'm really not into it.

Earsonics (SEM6) do have a bass that sound like a dynamic iem imho.
