Denon ah-d2000 sound in IEM

Welcome to Head-Fi, and sorry about your wallet!

Futuresonics Atrio may be a good bet - they put out serious bass but are pretty clear all the way up through the frequency spectrum.

Hi,
I love the sound of my Denon ah-d2000.
Which is the earphone or IEM that is closest to this sound in the price range up to 250$ or 150€ ?

Thanks

The IEM that sounds the closest to the denon d2000 is the JVC FX500. From the deep bass to the slightly recessed midrange to the treble. Everything about the FX500 reminded me of the denons. They're the best bet IMO.

C751 comes to mind too, except with much smaller soundstage.
FX500 is also pretty close

Thanks to all.
And what about the ath-cks70 ?

To kwang411, is the IE8 totally different?

Yes, they're quite different.
D2000 to me is fairly bright and IE8s are pretty warm.
IE8s have pronounced bass, but mids and highs are about the same level. They have this midbass hump though, which you may or may not like. They are also very immersive, and sounds like you're listening to headphones instead of IEM.

Good suggestion for general sound signature, although I would note that the Atrio has a significantly more pronounced bass to my ears.

I own the ah-d2000, They don't get any head time these days, I prefer the iem comfort, the denon was a little bright in a small range of frequencies to my ears, And the bass could be a little tighter, I think if you're really in love with the 200's the fx-500 or the ch751 might be your best matches. I personally don't think the ch 751's bass is very defined. I purchsed a pair of the new monster turbine pros. and to my ears they trump the 2000's across the board. Not sure that helps, since I think the denons are not an ideal balance for my ears. Is there any interest in a review of the the turbine pros?
I don't have the original turbines to compare them with.
