Given the low amount raised through raffles at last year's meet, do  you anticipate a fee this year to be sure the room expense is covered?

I was kind of hoping some funds would be swaggered from canjam back to chiunifi, you know Chicago politicians way of doing the books..haha

A small fee isn't a big deal. Just let us know Billy.

I agree some level of fee is fine as no one should be out for the cost of the room.  Too bad no one has access to a hall that may be more reasonable than a hotel conference room.

i always tried to keep it free for members, any meet/event i held, its more pride then anything. the skokie room cost is $375 though. and i totally agree with you about wishing someone had a hall, i actually of dreamed of it..

Kevin, is this the ultra-tiny balanced portable that you've been working on?

Nope.  KGSSHV.  I'm going to try to get the layout on the chassis finished tomorrow, then
order enough material for a single chassis. Nelson Pass style chassis with internal
mounting beams. The custom extrusions are too much work.

Have you thought about contacting the Chicago Audio Society and see if they would be interested in a joint meeting?  I think that is how last weeks CanFest in Charolette got started.

I think Billy ought to contact them. The more the merrier. Looks like everything is coming together. Still waiting for the official thread
