Practical devices XM4 questions

Thread Starter
Hello everyone,
I own a iPod nano 4g in combination with a Fiio e5, but i want to get more out of my Ipod. I like the e5, but it can always be better... I have been searching around a little bit, and i found the practical devices xm4. It has pretty much everything i need, and -most important- it's cheap! But i have a few questions about it:
-I want to buy this LOD, do i just need to plug it into my ipod and my amp, or do i need something else?
-the charger is an American type and i live in Europe. Will this do the job?
-Is it a good sounding combination?

If you have other suggestions under $150, feel free to post them!
Thanks in advance

That LOD is fine. I'd buy it without the transformer and buy the transformer locally. The specs used to be on their web site, or maybe in the instruction book that comes with it.

Edit: The plug converter will only work if their transformer works for 120 and 240 volts. That's not a given.

In addition, you can change op-amp by yourself in order to change the sound character too. Check their website for options.
