Its an anniversary series amplifier, probably meant as a companion to the SR-404 Limited.
They both mark 30 years since the first Lambda model...

As the companion product for the 404LE, it will be interesting to see if that combo excels over other STAX amp pairings. It will also be interesting to see how it compares to an 006 or 007 on other STAX cans.
