I can't remember the last time I posted anything here (YEARS ago), but I think I ought to share my impressions with Shures new headphones:

Just picked up the SRH240's and I LOVE them. I'm very picky when it comes to headphones, but I am not a critic by any means.

Plain and simple:

After 6 hours of listening with these headphones, music is rich and colorful. I'm sure you geeky guys can find faults in them since they are only a 60 dollar set, but I am very happy with my purchase. So excuse me while I lay down and enjoy.....mmmmmmmm

I'll post more on this thread after I get more time with them. So far I don't want to stop listening!

have you something to compare them to? I use iem, the sure Se530 a lot, but sometimes they are not practical...so any comparison to anything could help me.....

I just picked up a pair of SRH240's today, and I'm loving how the mids sound. Vocals are very clean and clear.

The highs are decent, but I think they're missing a bit of bass.

The seal from the earcups is really good, keeping in most if not all noise when wearing them.

Of course, I'm not an audiophile (yet), as these are my first real set of cans.
