Hello all,

Can someone give me some suggestions regarding the portable amp for my Teclast T51 + JH5pro setup? (I'm currently using SF3 while waiting for my JH5pro to arrive)
I listen to classical pop and female vocal like Sarah Brightman and Hayley Westenra, bass is not my major concern. Is the RSA P-51 suitable for me? I heard it can improve the soundstage a lot.

And what is "the reasonable setting" regarding the relative cost of source vs amp vs iem?

Many thanks!~

I think P-51, iBasso P3+ are great little AMPs and some others AMPs include DAC which canbe useful when hooked with pc or laptop like D10, XM5.

iQube is crystal clear and smooth, but it seriously lacks punch.

as for the P51, might as well order the Shadow right now. It's tiny and would go well with the IEMs. Early impression from jamato indicates that the Shadow is a bit better than the mustang.

I own the iQube and I totally disagree that it lacks punch. It is utterly neutral and accurate, meaning it will deliver "punch" if it was originally intended in the source and does not create any artificial "punch" which some other amps do. I have been surprised at how powerful its performance is from deep down lows to beautiful flying highs.

Because it is so accurate, I think the iQube will be a perfect match with any DAP having top of the line DAC chips such as the Wolfson together with a dedicated true line-out such as the T51. Anything with lesser quality SQ will make the iQube show how bad the SQ is in its full accuracy. I myself am thinking of going the T51 way in order to match it with my iQube; however, I am not sure whether I should wait until the Nationite S:Flo2 come out which is the international version of the T51.

Thanks all.
After I've tried both i-Qubes and P-51 I decided to buy P-51. The transparency P-51 offer really impressed me. The i-Qubes sounds good but its size is a bit large. While I myself dun hear much difference at the high end, I've decided to give P-51 a try.

I think both are good amp and P-51 just impressed me better.

P-51 is also a great piece of work by the great Ray so I'm sure you will have a wonderful time with it. By the way, is the size of your T51 bigger than the iQube? If so, then it must be quite a burden if someone were to carry both the large size iQube along with the even bigger sized T51...
