I do a lot of late night gaming ( 360 and PS3) and I finally decided I need to buy a headphone setup. After weeks of research the best I have been able to come up with is.

Shipped From Astro
( Astro Mixamp + PS3 Adapter - ECA code + shipping )=$136.97
Shipped from Amazon
( Ath AD700 + Zm-Mic1 +Free Prime Trail ) = $105.02
Shipped from Monoprice
( Toslink Switch + 3ft Toslink cable x3 +shipping)=$22.72
Total= 264.71

I wanted the ath ad-700's before I decide to do this so I guess the price is ok. Before I ordered though I wanted to check and see if there is anything about my setup I should change. (I was also wondering if anyone likes the victor/jvc su-dh1 over the mixamp and if they are able to use a mic with it)

(Touchpad just went out on my 80gb Zune so it's get a new mp3 player or this and I want to make sure I'm making a good choice)

If your planning to use the ad700's for gaming late night w/ roommates, your still going to be annoying them since the ad700's are open. I have them, and although they are great for my fps and rts gaming, my roommate can hear the gunshots when hes trying to sleep. Maybe consider switching to the a700's if that's your situation.
