That's what happens to woodland creatures who don't return rented costumes.

SCOTUS Justice Scalia commented that this "obivious reference to Leoncavallo's Paggliachi" was "spirited," but still not as impressive as a bullfight or the sacrament of Holy Orders.

Who says it was a prank? They might simply have a very large housecat. One with an odd sense of humor.
