So I got myself some MKIIIs after reading good reviews on the MK IIs (special thanks to user evu325 for answering a lot of my newbie questions), now I just upgraded from some crappy logitechs - but I'm really used to the thumpy/loud bass. So:
1. What type of subwoofers should I get? Budget is very flexible if I feel the need to spend more(100-300). Emphasis on clarity not volume obviously - I really like the clarity of my new speakers.
2. Should I get a DAC? I read somewhere that MKII/MKIIIs have some type of amp built inside.. would that already do the job or conflict with an external DAC?
Been reading about

about double the budget I planned - anyone know if this "balance" is worth it? I would like to buy something recent since i'm already spending a ton of money(relatively since I'm a student)
Thanks!
