No! I hope your beautiful amp hissed at her. My WA22 is on order (10/2). I ordered the 6F8G to 6SN7 adapters (I asked him to make them with the red wire and he was glad to do that). Seamaster, what made you decide to use 6F8G tubes? Besides looking uber-cool how do they sound? Of course I still need to order some balanced cables for my HD650. I think my credit cards have just had a group meltdown.

And that, my fellow WA22-user, is all the reason in the world one needs to live in peace and harmony (along with a couple of 6F8G tubes thrown into the mix). That is a great birthday gift.

Thanks. This is on my short list of amps to buy in a few years, along with the ZDT. I heard the ZDT at RMAF, but like a fool did not listen to the WA22. Have you measured the plate and filament voltage to see how hard it drives the tubes. Tubes always get hot. Transformers can get hot, especially if it is SET, which i think it is. But the ZDT OPTs did not seem that hot, or are they? Others can chime in.

Anyway, I have been told that the amps are about equal by one person. Since I thought the ZDT sounded fabulous, that means the WA22 must also sound great. I wonder how it would do with these new - yet to be released - Audeze headphones. I liked them very much on the ZDT.
