Grado RS1i Impressions thread

Just my limited experience here, but the HD800 is about the only headphone I've ever heard that I thought was even close to ideal.
Personnally, I think the T1 is just a very expensive DT880, but to be fair and honest, I have NOT spent a lot of time listening to the T1 or HD800.

Well, after a few days of listening to my RS1i....it is official. I will be selling my 325i's

I was planning on keeping both, because I love the in your face style of the 325's....but I just can't justify keeping both...even as much as I want too.

Glad to see you're enjoying your RS1is, i'm not suprised, the RS1is have a very strong following, by the way, i'm going through the same thing, ever since i bought my PS1000, i hardly use my GS1000, so i'll probably end up selling them.

I fail to see how this post is relevant to this thread, there are MORE than enough threads about LCD2/3, HD800s, T1s, and HE500 etc, i think it would be nice to keep this wonderful thread on topic

LOL,
I've never heard the HD600 so I cannot comment!
You seem to be a huge HD600 fan?

Thanks. I am really enjoying this set of cans.....I like the 325i's a whole lot....I just can not see myself listening to them very much, so it seems like a waste to just have them hanging on a headphone stand, when someone else can be enjoying them.

I was leary at first, thinking the RS1i purchase was not going to be worth the money, but after listening to around 30 albums, I realized how very nice they are.

I would love to hear the GS1000 and PS1000

I hear there is a professional series Beats headphone? Have you heard it? Any differences?

You're not allowed to talk about Beats here!
It's off topic! :p

I do my best!
I close the toilet seat after I use it.
I put away my own dishes.
I hang up my wet towel.
I don't leave my shoes in the hall.
Standard house rules.

Also, does anyone here use an amp with their RS1i's. If so, what amp do you use? Thanks.

i used the WA6-SE with my RS1i, it was a good combo, though i'm sure there are better sounding pairings out there. Had aggressiveness without being bright or forced. Good overall.
