I have a small problem with my Corda HA-1. I get crackling when i turn the volume up, but this does not happen when listening to a continous volume, and thus is not something to worry about, I understand by reading other posts on the subject.

However, when I touch the volume pot of the corda, it makes a buzzing noise. Again, this goes away when not touching it, now, the crackling is normal, fair enough, but what about this buzzing?

Quick response there

Actually, the buzzing seems to stay on at high volumes when the source is switched off (ie not using it), but strangely, it buzz does not stay when the source is turned on. Or maybe it does, I dunno.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but all the problems I am having with RFI inteference are really starting to nark me off, and its not taking much for me to get narked right now

May be premature, but I seem to have somewhat fixed my problem by swapping interconnects. Now I get little crackling, virtually no buzzing, and strangely enough, the RFI that I could hear through my old cable is no longer present.

The cable in question is not even that expensive - its a VDH The Bay C5. It actually sounds excellent for a low cost ($60) interconnect.
