My UM3X just broke | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

Left side is producing much louder sound than the right side.

I've lost my receipt but still have my warranty card with me. Considering that the UM3X has been out for less than a year, will westone still honor my warranty?

Anyone had experience in this matter?

Where did you buy them? Call the seller and ask them to send/fax you a duplicate copy of your receipt/invoice.

Westone has replied and asked me to send my um3x over. I'll keep my finger crossed.

On a side note, anyone has similar problems? The problem seems to be intermittent; most of the time it's good, but once in a while it fails me.

No problems so far but I treat my IEM's like gold.

You should have an email confirming the purchase, assuming you got them online. You should be able to use that.
