Customs is listening to it with their Ipod earbuds wondering why it doesnt dound much better than a naked Ipod. Consider it a break-in period

I bought the amp used so there's no need for break-in! Moreover, they'll need to recable their ibuds first since there's only speaker out on the Stingray.

I am guessing that (reterminated) ibuds+speakers outputs = not so nice.

Good news! I was still sleeping 20 mins ago but a mailman kept banging on the fence and yelling PACKAGE! So here I am now finally being able listening to my K1000 through the Manley Stingray with the Electrocompaniet ECD-1 as source.

Wait, your mailmen actually bother to inform you of a delivery? Around here both UPS and USPS throw it at the door and run away... signature required or not. I even had UPS forge my signature once to deliver a damaged package while I was in the house, and of course didn't bother to make his/her presence known in any way. UPS ignored the insurance claim of course.

I hate Customs. The only Customs department i am happy with are Fedex and Canadapost. Canadapost being the upper hand as no matte how much my package costs, they always sort it out in a matter or hours (less than an hour for packages less than $100 for me as of now). Fedex being a bit slower but is still very decent. I hate UPS as they take forever to clear in Customs, like shipping my package back and forth for customs, and likes charging me incredible charges for "CLEARING" out of customs....

There's really nothing you could do but wait, you could claim for "On-time" guarantee and get your money back for shipping. But they aren't going to provide you with the phone number since they don't want everyone that has their package in customs to call them. Good luck on receiving your package! hope it doesn't take too long...

i work at a customs brokerage office. although i do not handle any small packages (only big shipments), i do know that many documents and/or shipments just sit at the cargo location without being examined or inspected, especially air shipments. when that happens, i call the customs and try to get through to the appropriate department.

i'll PM you the telephone number of the office i usually call for air shipments that are being held for too long. you can call that number and ask about your shipment. if they cant help you, they should be able to provide the phone number to the appropriate department.

i hope it helps.
