Hi all,

I've had my d10 for about 3-4 months and until recently it had been working great. however, the last few weeks as I plug my headphone jack I can hear this click sound on the left ear which it did not do before. it was only during insertion so I figured I can live with that. but tonight after about 15 minutes of listening I started getting loud static/crackle sound on the left side during music play. if I take it the headphone jack out and re-insert it goes away for a while and then the crackle/static come back again. I also tried with another earphone just to be sure it was the amp and not the headphone.
Also sometimes when I change the gain I get the same click noise only on the left side. If I change the gain slowly and carefully (which I usually do) there is no click.

Any ideas what the cause might be and a possible way to fix it? or should I just send it back to ibasso while still under warranty?

Thanks in advance

If it's not your source....it sounds like a trip back to China

There can be many reasons for this, from the really bad ones that require you to send it back for repair.
Or the easy one you can do yourself!
Start with the easy one!
Use some cleaning/lubricating solution, like WD-40 or CRC 5-56, apply carefully on your headphone jack, and insert the jack into the headphone connector.
Avoid surplus solution to drip all over!
This should clean the galvanic connection between the jack and connector, and hopefully remove your problem.
If not, there is also the possibility if you yourself can open the connector and clean it/bend the internal legs so they make more pressure against the jack when inserted.
From here, if it still does not help, you need to send your amplifier back.
Good luck!

I am thinking about the solusion, Please try it to see the result and report it to us.
