wondering how it sounds for its price

I may purchase these just to test them out. Help me spend my money guys.
Should I go with the the white ones or the Bamboo?

Going to be hooking these up to the rig in my signature by the way.

Go white (or black). Also, it would be nice if you had an A2 and/or A5 to compare it to. Maybe you can pick them up as well...30-day return policy, y'know.

Definitely white. You seem to have a decent setup, I would be quite interested in the results.

i hv owned both the white and black A2
both colours are really nice, i am sure you wont be disappointed by either of them

i am not sure about the bamboo tho
but it's not worth the premium imo because i am just a poor student

some have mentioned that the bamboo version sounds noticeably better than the normal white and black. if the bamboo is just for looks, i will say go for the black or white but since the bamboo DOES have a sonic improvement, the bamboo may be the better choice.

both have tweeters that are 20mm,
but the tweeters are centered on the AP4

also, the A5 have a 5 inch woofer while the P4 have a 4 inch cone

They are different. The P4 is also FRONT PORTED, which is awesome.

Actually, I have these on order right now. They will be my first bookshelf speakers, and I hope I made a good purchase. I love my friend's A5s, and for some reason I feel totally comfortable making this purchase.

I will be playing gamma1 -> NAD 314 integrated amplifier -> P4s. I'll let you guys know how it sounds, though I don't have a whole lot of experience with other gear.
