I'm looking at buying a new Pair of earphones for my 120GB Classic. I'm not really an audiophile but can appreciate a good pair of earphones. I originally had Sennheiser CX500's from ebay which I believed to be real?? as they sounded great. Then lost them and went to replace them and received 2 pairs of obvious clones off ebay and gave up on sennheiser. My price range is about AU$200, like US$150 I suppose?? Narrowed it down to the UE Super.Fi 5 EB's and the Monster Turbine's.

Obviously most people would say the UE are better but the price differnce I'm looking at is about US$120(Monster, eCost) or US$160 (UE, eBay).

Wondering if it's worth the extra money?

Earphone use, mostly public transport, exercise, to all types of music, although I do like a heavy bass.

Are you a basshead? If not, i suggest you go with the Monster Turbine's...because the UE's gives you A LOT of bass...
