So, I just bought a AD8620 op amp online, thinking it would just be a simple swap into my XM4. Well, it doesn't fit like I thought and it looks like I need to get something to do that. I don't know what they're called, but I guess some popular ones are white cat and brown dog. Certainly someone knows what I'm talking about, haha.

I tried looking for some on digi-key but there are no pictures so I don't know if I'm getting the right thing or not.

If anyone can give me more info on the pieces, as well as where I could order, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

[edit: found this. Is this the right thing I'm looking for? If I solder the op amp chip to this, then it'll fit in my XM4?]

I am using the pre-mounted AD8620 from BrownDog (Cimarron technology) on my XM3 (I also have the pre-mounted AD8066). It is slightly larger than the socket so the fitting is a bit tight (as there are pins next to the socket in XM3). I solve the problem by putting another socket in between the opamp and the socket and everything works fine now.
