I think it may be a case of some people having to get rid of everything just to afford a set of customs. I'm still holding on to some of my other IEM's, but I haven't been hit with economic struggles with the work I do. Yet!!!!

Well I'm holding on to my favourite full sized.. But I'd been contemplating selling the D7k's long ago so when I fell over the JH13's it just made up my mind 100% to get rid. I could probably scrape the cash but I have a lot tied up in the D7k's and I just don't get on with them so they are outta here......

Would love to see some pics of other peoples JH13's though, PLEEEEEEEASE!

.

I have listened to my Ed. 9 a little but very little. I was listening last night to some Grateful Dead that I like but the recording just didn't have any openness to it so I didn't really enjoy it. With the 13's they pull out that extra bit of soundstage and quality that make the music enjoyable to listen to. It is a much better view to the recording and much of Grateful Dead's stuff is this way so there are many more recordings that I now listen to.

I think that's the glue holding the driver in place against the shell.

What you said. =)

Dude I love your home rig!

Do you still listen to it even with the JH13 around?

Are you talking about my home rig? If so, yes I listen to it all the time as I don't currently own the JH-13's. I am actually considering ordering a pair. It's a tuff call since I still like my sensaphonics. The 2x-s don't get much love around here, but I have been enjoying them for a couple of years. That said, my curiosity will probably get the best of me and I'll send in my order at some point!

Sweet. You must be a lover of details...

=) Just like me. Hehehez judging by your rig at least. =) I would love to have one like yours.

Hope you do get it. It's a portable hi-fi home theatre system in your head.

John how would you say the p-51 and 71a pair with the jh-13's as in which better synergizes with them?

It really depends upon what you want to hear. There is a great difference but the 51 has a bit more JUMP factor so it might be a bit more exciting and still enjoyable over the long haul.
