Now i'm new to this site, but in have used these threads to choose ear buds and headphones before, and decided i'd ask you guys and gals for advice.

Now as mentioned in the title i'm looking at either the Altec Lansing UHP326 Backbeat Series In Ear Headphones or the Soundmagic Pl30 In-ear Headphones. Now i've heard good things about both pairs and as i'm not to picky about the quality of my music (though i prefer above average) I'd like to hear your opinions on both sets.

I'd also like any additional suggestions for alternative buds to these, i have a maximum spending limit of $45 (not including shipping).
