I suspect, nobody is interested anymore, after my first impressions. Nevertheless, here come the 1 1/2th impressions: Burn-in hasn't helped, yet. That's it. Sorry!

It's a pity, really - I had hoped to dig up something nice... <sigh> But let me add, that I'm actually very fond of this beyerdynamic DT531 - just in case, I haven't mentioned that, yet.

thanks for the review Lini. I'm still interested in the HFI-15 myself, but it's too bad the 2000 wasn't much good.

, Philips cdp, HK amp, AKG K501). He seconds my impressions: Comfort is ok, build quality is mediocre to poor (considering the price), sound is not bad in low volumes, but not very lively, and doesn't get any more exciting in higher and high volumes - and in-front representation (so called "FPS" technology) apparently didn't work for him, either. He said, in a shop he would have expected it somewhere in the 100 DM range. As I mentioned before, the HFI-2000 in fact costs around 460 DM. Quite a difference...
