This is my first post here, so please bear with me.

I just joined a gym to shed some pounds, and don't want to be disturbed by music from Mariah or Shania or the rest of their kin.

What can you all recommend in a 64-128 portable mp3 player with or without FM? I'm looking for something small enough to not get in my way while I attempt to reduce my size.

Any help is VERY appreciated.

Welcome to Head-Fi.

The Creative MuVo or maybe an iRiver (iFP-390T, etc.) might be the ticket.

Yup those are the best 2 options. And you probably want to get some Etymotic ER6 or ER4's so you don't have to hear everyone around you.

Yes, I agree with Austonia, about the Ety's that is, not about the players.

I have Porta Pros and sometimes at the gym they blast the music so loud that it's louder than the music coming from my headphones. Just unbelievable how loud they play music in those gyms.
