Head-Fi'ers,
My q-Jays are nearly perfect, but they're a bit sibilant... which is all the more annoying since they're so close to perfect. Has anyone been able to tame this sibilance? I primarily use them on an iPod Touch with a Fiio E5 on bass boost (the amp isn't causing the problem, and neither is the source).
After a night of snooping around Headroom reading graphs and playing around with the iTunes equalizer, I believe much of the problem comes from a dip around 4-6k followed by a huge peak at the 8k frequency. Any recommendations at all on how to remedy this?
Again, they're great earphones... just this slight imperfection is killing me. Suggestions would be appreciated.
