Does anyone know what's inside this beauty? What op-amp(s) does it use? How about the pot?

To those few that own one, can you describe how the controls feel? Since I can't audition one locally, I'll have to live vicariously through others.

p.s. Yes, yes... I came to this site to find an amp for under $200.. and a week later now I'm starting to look in the $700 range. *sigh*

I haven't looked inside my headmaster, and wouldn't know what I was looking at if I did, but the controls feel to be high quality. The volume control is smooth.

I own an MG Head and a Grado RA-1 and really like them both.

Love the Headmaster.

I originally visited this site (well..headwize) to find a good sony headphone to replace my old worn out sonys....1500 bucks later....yes...well...*ahem*....needless to say, I didn't find those sony replacements and I bought much more than I had planned to
