Those are the tips recommended for those phones. I had some gift card cash to burn so I bought a 3 pack.

I'm not clear on something...am I supposed to remove the plastic tube before inserting on the buds? Because I really have to shove them on, they don't seem to go past the first flange, and from the pressure of trying to pry them on (and pulling them off to try again) they look deformed. They don't seem to be "bouncing back" very well.

Should I have gone for a different size (T-500 seem to be popular here too, even though it doesn't show them compatible on their website)?

I also have a pair of '33 Marshmallows...should I even bother trying them on those? I have two "good" pair of foams left to play with.

i think the t500 would be better for them and the other sennheiser ones but comply do officially say it should be the t400

What's the difference between the 500's and 400's that would make them better? They really need to clarify this on their site a little better...

well, i believe the t500 are a fraction bigger than the t400 and many have expressed difficulty in getting the t400 on the sennheisers, as the tips from my triples fit on them quite snugly and they take supposedly t500 according to comply so to me it seems that the t500 should fit sennheisers nicely. i dont know why they recommend the t400 or empirically what the difference between the t400 and t500 is.
