I recently bought a pair of shure se530 and I would like to buy an amp to go with my ipod classic (I use mainly apple lossless). Could you give me some recommendations around £100 (about $150). Battery life and portability are fairly important but SQ always comes firsts. Thanks

iBasso

That's just the manufacturer page, you can google for online shops

Only one I can think of off-hand that comes close to budget and has a good following. Some of them have optical input as well which is nice on top pf being a usb ac/headphone amp

Obviously if you are importing then the weak £ works against you now

I would say the iBasso D3 was perfect, but then I'm looking to sell mine so I'm a bit biased.

( £130 if you're interested, see link in sig. )

Might as well post here since I'm going to pick up 530 tonight also, but for now I'm looking for cheaper alternatives. Will E3 or E5 suffice for my first gen Touch? (need to drive my KSC75 badly also)

mini3 amps are a good sounding choice for a GREAT price. you dont even have to build it yourself if you dont feel like it. You can get them pre-built for around $120
