well its true when it comes to portable amps I know jack poop... I'm looking for something around 150 dollars that will adequately run k701's and sa3000's off of a stock 5th generation ipod video... I dont know where to start any help would be greatly appriciated..

Do you really need portable? For $50 more you could get a Cute Beyond or an Eddie Current Lunchbox II.
