i am still considering between these 2....

having a usb dac is an extra bonus to me. but what matters in the end is still the overall sound quality.

any buddies here tried both or any of these , care to shed some light ?

i'm waiting for my customs and then decide on one of these.

If more 1200 hours for burning time is not an issue for you, i 'll say Predator.
Sound the best after a long (very long) burning time period.
If you want rapidely a good sound Musatng is ok (but stay under predator ), even after more 300 hours.

Predator sound have more :
bass, mids and treeble.
A great sens of spacialisation and details.
Mustang :
Sound is really clean and more transparent, but less open.
At my opinion it haven't the little touch of RSA amps.
It's just my advise and opinion based on the 2 setup.

it's just to say that i think Mustang is more Neutral than Hornet /Predator.

That's All.

Sound quality is based on personal toast.
Someone can prefer the sound of this amp and other people an other.
No Problem with that.

the dac is an awesome extra feature. if that is what you are looking for, then u should be comparing dac's instead. i use my predator's dac about 90% of the time at work through a laptop since i can use itunes to navigate my music rather than having to turn to my ipod.
