Hi guys,

Just auditioned the two amps today. I liked both with my SR225. I'll be buying the RS1 in the future so I just want to get a ss amp first.

the V8 is a little more expensive. I also plan to get a different can in my set-up, HD650 or 701 prolly. With these plans, do you think the ECSS is the favorable route, since I also plan to get high impedance cans?

Woo6 is will be my tube amp in the future.

The EC/SS is a great little amp for the money. I say get it now until you have enough money for a Woo 6 down the road. The EC/SS will have great resell value too, everybody loves Eddie Current.

Well, Woo6 and X-can V8 are the same price, roughly - $550, $600, anyway. You could keep saving if money is a big issue now and use the EC for a stopgap, or just wait on it.

I have a similar question. Will the ECSS be able to drive the 701 favorably to my Zero with LT1364?
