I thought all you Grado lovers should know that Jeremy, at JMoney Audio, formerly known as Headcoverage, is back with a new version of his custom leather headband. I just bought this one for my 325i's. It's beautifully sewn in soft brown leather, is comf and really dresses up the phones.

Wow! That looks practically identical to the factory Grado leather headband. I wonder if it has more padding than the factory headband, which is a little short on padding IMO.

There are two significant improvements over the stock Grado leather headband. The Headcoverage band has more padding, and both the top and underside leather surfaces are rolled and sewn unlike the Grado which has exposed leather edges on the underside. Headcoverage's looks and feels classier.

In a creative moment - why not replicate the "classic" snap-on Beyer headband cover. I'd go for one or two of those, instead of the vinyl that Beyer supplies. Actually, I prefer the snap-on type better than the 2005 version, in part, because it has more of cushion than the new style (especially when wearing x-Deep Darths).

Very nice indeed!
Looks like solid craftsmanship, built to please and last.

I've also received a V2 headband from Jeremy and the quality is excellent.

Fatcat, I understands that you also have the original V1s. How do they differ?

The V1 is more heavily padded and the stitching is larger. I think the V1 has a more "sporty" look whereas the V2 is more refined. Here's a V1 on my HF-1's.

Any more headband photos?
I am thinking of putting these on my Grado Elite’s.
Should I go with distressed brown or black?

I would also be interested in a Darth Beyer version!

Definitely Black. You gotta match the wood!
