Hi - I just bought the parts to build a Meta42 and am now considering what to use for resistor values for R3-R6. I'm planning on use the meta42 initially with HP890 cans, and then I'm going to prolly buy myself some high-end Grado's.

What opamp are you using? I have OPA2132 and OPA2228, hoping for a gain of 5 with the first, and 8 with the second. My gain-of-five values are these:

R3 - 470R
R4 - 2K
R5 - 2.2K
R6 - 220K

Why don't you make R4 = R5 and avoid buying two different resistors of nearly the same value?

Because I didn't know I could.

. Thanks for that!
