hd545 upgrade cables?

i intend one day to get better headphones, but are there any upgrade cables available for the sennheiser hd545? thanks in advance for your responses fellow head-fiers.

HD545 uses the same cables as HD600, so any HD600 replacement cables will work. Hope this helps!

i guess i would know that if i had taken the time to look at the sennheiser site for replacement parts.

Even the older generation Sennheisers (HD480, 520 & 540) seem to use the same connectors as on the modern Senns (its the same pull out arrangement with the two prongs, but whether they are the same dimensions etc I do not know) so potentially even those senns could benefit from Cardas cables...

...Try before you buy though

even so, i am planning on getting hd600 sometime...which means i need to get a headphone amp (and maybe plane tickets to beijing to get ye li's 8PR)...blah blah blah.
