The wine glass trick is REALLY easy given some basic equipment. The frequency needed to shatter it is the same one produced when you run your finger around the rim (which is the same effect backwards - vibration of the glass into sound instead of sound into vibration of the glass). It's nothing you can't do at home with a decent microphone, a computer, some relatively strong speakers, and a copy of LabView. Oh, and hearing protection. The amplitude needed isn't that high, but high enough you should take care.
