This morning I went to my office as usual. After a break weekend in Bush Gardens (Tampa). Like at 10 am, I received a call from the receptionist, that I got a package. hiiiiii. Or is either the parts for my next project (Meta mint) from Digikey and Tangent. Or is my order from HCM audio. Guess what?. It was my grado SR 60. Love the box. Brand new, they sound like my KSC35. Let's see after burning it up. But they sound descent at the moment. I like the bass from it. I turned my DR7 volume up, and no bass distortion at all. I didnt have to much time to test it but is like someone said: Either, you like the grado sound or not. Nothing in between.

Update. Love it. The bass and mid waves climb my veins like electrons travel my cmoy amp.

SR60's rock. they're my best cans at the moment, but i haven't felt a tinge of upgradeitis since i got them since december. i love em that much. they do definitely sound a bit like KSC35's, but the bass on the grados is less promenient and more controlled, and the soundstage is a bit bigger with the SR60's. overall a much more pleasing sound to my ears. give em some time to burn in, and you may notice the grados becoming more refined in comparison w/the KSC35's

Congrats on the SR-60's. Great place to start. And it's always good to know that there is a welcome upgrade path in the Grado line as your source and amp improve. Enjoy the music.
