The Daily Carry Including D2, Case, Senn MX500 Buds + case, 3x 8gb sd's, Livewires + cleaning tool, stylus, cleaning cloth, all in waterproof livewires case (which needs to be slightly taller or my Livewires get squahed!)

* Currently carried in 2 mint tins. One for the D2, stylus and cleaning cloth, One for the LW's, SD's, cleaning tool.
* Sometimes crystal case + ipod sock and Ety zipper for LW's and other bits.
* Or Livewires box, but it is slightly too small, needs to be taller as LW wires get really squahed and tangled.

Need to find a similar sized (but taller) pelican without the handles and stuff!

Bed rig includes a Juice Cmoy, hopefully soon to be replaced with a D2 Boa Amp/DAC for portable, bed and laptop rig.

Agreed! iPhone 3g/UE11

Let me edit this and stick my neck out by saying it dicks all over any amped rig I have owned!

can you change the track on the wireless controller?
no, there is no track or volume control, thats all thru the ipod (volume is done on the amp)

IMO seems a bit pointless/redundant to run through a LOD->amp and then have it passed onto another device through wireless which has its own lesser quality amp. i'm assuming thats how it works if i'm wrong excuse me

definitely i'm with you there but I just wonder about that little detail surely it would sound better without the wireless or by having the amp after the wireless. I would think the amp in the wireless receiver would undo all the good done to the signal by the pico

All you need for that rig now is a (wireless) remote to hit next track etc. and you could leave that huge rig in a bag with the screen off for longer battery life.

Shame you wouldnt be able to adjust volume though

I wonder how the sensetivity of the SA6 and LW compare. Maybe you could cut the plugs off the wireless thingy and replace them with LW plugs. Wouldnt be too well tuned for LW's though I imagine.

I use mine at home so they would be really handy, would deffo buy. Even better if the reciever had a PTH thing in it! Dream for me! Wouldnt really use it with my d2 i dont think, as i would like to change song with something like a remote, however I guess i could just do what i do now, and put the D2 and transmitter in my pocket/blazer and change track through it by holding the tactile menu button, and vol with the vol buttons. Would rather be able to use a remote, and leave it in my bag all day, however i wouldnt swap my D2 just for that!

Yeah, good point. The power of the amp isn't going towards driving the phones, it's just maybe coloring the sound.

But still I think taking it out is like asking Ron Jeremy to have lipo.

Those are amphenol plugs. An enterprising soul could order them from their favorite electronic component distributor.

I've been dreaming of a LiveWire cable set, with the small iphone plug on the end, and a microphone in the Wye of the cable.

If they offered one up for even twice the price, I would have already placed my order. And an ipod plug to 3.5mm stereo adapter.

Jabra offered something that tried to bridge the Cellphone and Mobile Media worlds. It would bluetooth to your cell, but wire to your Mobile Media player. Had a built in Mic and with the click of a button, switch from Musical Bliss to a nagging call from your significant other.

Can't imagine why it didn't sell well.
