Looking for some advice and thanking everybody in advance!

I often practices my DJ skills and sets at home on a Pioneer DJ gear consisting of the CMX 3000 dual CD player and a DJM 3000 mixer. I use a Senn 600 as my headphones.

I am looking to invest in a quality headphone amp so that I can enjoy the music. I have a flexible budget.

The following is some of the gear that have caught my eye : x-can v8, graham slee, benchmark dac -1. I would be willing to look at others as well!

Here are a couple of considerations and questions:

(1) Is the benchmark dac-1 overkill for my requirements? I assume I can not use the DAC because I will have the Mixer to contend with.

(2) I don't mind a full size amp, but not one desperately big - e.g. some of the Woo amps are a little too big for me.

(3) I don't need a head amp for my computer since I only listen to music on my computer via my Eclipse soundystem which includes its amplifier.

Benchmark wouldn't be overkill but nonsense.

It's DAC is great but there are much better amps than the DAC-1's amp part.

Unfortunately or fortunately

you can't use just the amp on the DAC-1 by it self as it has no analogue inputs, you can only use it in conjunction with the DAC.
