Well recently I got a new Ford Edge 2008. Unfortunatelly for me, there are too many careless people around home, and there is no way my bumpers will survive scratchless without any protection, the only time I parked it on a public place, it was marked by a shopping cart...

Unfortunatelly for me, as we speak, there is no known company that make the rear and front bumper guards for my beloved crossover. So I'm posting this question here, to see if I have a better luck with any custom work.
All I need is a whole bumper protection for the rear and the front bumpers, both, of a Ford Edge 2008...not a grill guard which protects only the head-lights and grill, and no bull bars, which IMO are even more absurd)...Any idea???

Hmm, something like a 3M ClearBra? I know there are companies that custom-cuts these to fit...

It won't protect against a crash but against nicks and dings it should work.

Nah, that is not what I'm looking for, something like steel bars sort off....

Why not just fab a mockup with something like coat hangers or solder and then have someone or yourself weld something together.

Nothing like those Chevy's, Cadillac's, Buick's, Pontiac's, from the 50's, my father used to have a 56 Cady, it was like 20 years parked in a garage while we got it, so practically it was like new, OMG!!!! It evne had two bullets on the front and back, those bumpers where heavy duty stuff!!!! Not even the aftermarket ones we see today can match the sturdiness of those...Where have all the good times gone?
But even worst is that there is not freaking courtesy anymore, people have become heartless, and they do not care a little bit about what other have invested, they throw the shopping carts in the parking lots like basketball balls, they park and screw the one on front, and on the back, with no remorse!!!

Alberto, I am a big guy also. I use my beetle to drive 70 miles daily as part of my commute to Fort Lauderdale. As an option there is the micro bus!
