Hey,
Well I figured out, as others have, that when the amp is charging and you are using the USB port to use the DAC through your computer you get static as you turn the volume up all the way. I read the mod (about scraping paint off) and I will do that to take care of this but my problem lies within the line in or line out port, or so I believe.
When I connect my ipod to the amp and then plug in my se530s, i turn the volume up all the way and I get static. Whether the amp is fully charged or not, I still get static. The problem is the same with my external speakers when the amp is charging, but like I said that goes away when it is fully charged. I've been told I have a "dirty" potentiometer but I don't really want to send my amp across the world to get this fixed. Could it have anything to do with the opamps I put in or anything besides that? It's a really weird problem since it is corrected as far as the DAC goes.
