hi guys, i'm an indonesian studying in singapore.

i plan on getting a budget canalphone for my lil sis who listens mainly to japanese pop/dance/hiphop and she had said that she doesn't mind having her ear penetrated (by phone tips).
and personally i think she would enjoy or wouldn't complain on a bit bloated muddy bass.

so i posted a thread about this and I've got a response stating that a pair of senn CX300 will be perfect. problem is, here it is priced S$150 which is around US$120. What.

is this a thing about senns because it's imported from faraway? (in which case, we might actually have cheaper ATs here compared to you guys)
the price is painful IMO, it feels BOSE all over.

is there a trusted source that sells cheap (as in the original value rather than US$120)? is newegg shipping worldwide?

thx in advance guys. just had my walk around city area; kinda feel pity with the abundance of ibuds and ipod stores that always have BOSEs in them.

Actually, Senn are overpriced in most of the world (regarding to their official price), except in U.S. where sellers don't follow the MSRP. Since you are in Singapore currently, you can try Bijou 3 at Jaben. With 100hrs of burn in, it sounds slightly better than CX300. Mashmallows is a good choice as well.

150?
I saw recently that it was 129.
Well. It's not worth the 129 anyway.
I think you should get the bijous or the denon ah-c351s. ah-c351s definitely sound better than the 300s.

It's around 100 i think.
I think you'll feel that the extra money is worth it because of their customer service.

Less than $100 is what I know. Jaben is okay on pricing in compare to Stereo, which sell almost everything on MSRP (they do have sale event from time to time), though their customer service is top notch too. I am regular of both.

really? i was about to say that stereo has much better pricing. well maybe we have different cans taste. ES7 in stereo is S$189, city price is 250, hung bros 200. jaben's is either 200 or 250.

thx for the suggestions, guys. but actually i am looking for something S$50 and below for my lil sis (that's the actual price range of the CX300 and that's why it was recommended for me on my previous thread)

Maybe you can buy from ebay.
Though you might get a fake.
If you don't mind.
