I'm moving over to the Uk for two years & I'll need something portable as a replacement. I've been listening to my K701 + Aria Corda setup for quiet a few years now.

I'm looking at getting a pair of in-earphones, probably straight out from a iphone 3G or from a notebook with no amp.

I might go for one of the following in the next few days
UM2, UE5Pro, UE10, SE530.
(I'll try them all out for comfort and sound...if only I had all day

Please feel free to comment, regarding their sound signature, sound stage...etc. Will the UE10 or SE530 be over kill for such a basic setup?
By the way the only thing I found lacking with the K701 was the bass department.

If you like the 701s, then I'd recommend the ETY-4S. I am not usually a fan of the 701 (except with a specific recable), nor do I like the ETYs (I had the 4P), But they have a sound signature that is somewhat similar. I much prefer the SE530 (which I own), because of the greater bass presence. But I think SE530 is closer to a Senn 590/600/650 sound signature than to the 701 signature. I have not been a fan of the Triple-fi Pro when I've heard them.
