Too true, I have had a new 2Move running in for the last three days now and I've been flabbergasted at the sound coming from the USB port of my G4 iBook and into the Denon AH-D1000s and the Senn HD555s (now that they are practically run in, they were horrible earlier - thin and edgy). The 2Move has filled out nicely, very smooth and open and sooo transparent! The stream from the USB port leaves the headphone socket for dead. The 2Move for me has been a revelation in portable amps and so beautifully built. I absolutely love it!
I also bought an Audioquest Mini 3 connector to connect from RCA outputs, like the Yam CDX 1110 CDP I use in the main system, plus a 12V external supply which adds an extra touch of effortless creaminess to the sound. Not so portable but great on the desktop.
Hope these comments might be of some use to you and if you get a 2Move, may you have many many hours of fun with it, I do! Cheers.

I recently purchased the Total Bithead. Sure everthing becomes a tad more crispy, precise, quiet, but like iKonoKlast I also found marginal improvement otherwise. I also feel that the sound is a little fatique to the ears over prolonged listening. That being said, it is well built and Headroom is professional in its dealings with quick delivery. For the price can't ask for more.

Other than the alternatives already mentioned, I would also consider the Blue Circle USB Thingee as a USB portable. Not designed a headphone amp as such but heard that the headphone jack still manage to work well with some moderately efficient headphones.
