That's right. I finally got to listen to it. It seems I already had the adapter I needed. There is only one problem. I hooked up the amp and there was MONO sound. MONO! What the heck (wanted to say HELL!!!!, but I figured I would be polite)? Does anyone know who, what where, when, or why to fix this? Are there mono and stereo minis?

By the way, I am ready to beat the sh** out of my sb audigy 2.

Thanks a lot, John. But why would anybody think of making a mono plug anyway? To be honest, this fact has totally made my anger disappear. So I'm buying it tomorrow. Oh well.....

Cause some people can only hear out of their right ear.

There is a lot of equipment that uses mono especially older items. Remember stereo really did not really take off until the late 60's. I remember having small radios with a single ear piece. Also if you are transmitting voice there is no real need for stereo.

Ok, where to start? Well, first of all, I finally got to listen to the amp FOR REAL. And I must say now that I have heard the ampness I can never go back.

I'll start with the bad points just to save the best for last. Let's see, what do I put here? Hmmmmmm... Oh yeah! One thing: Even with the gain on highest, I had to put my sound card master volume to max (this is considering I have the power-hungry hd600's), which made a slight hum, but no big deal. Um, that's about it.

Now for the good points.

The bass, man. I don't know how a small little box can improve the bass by, like, 10x, but it does. The impact and extension are great improvements from no amp. As for the treble, there is a very noticeable extension. The highs sound more clear.

And the crossfeed. Who can forget the crossfeed? The main thing about this is there is a much narrower soundstage, which is awesome compared to random instruments just flying all over the place. Each instrument is defined much more clearly, and there is more bass extension when the crossfeed is turned on. I love crossfeed.

The vocals are very much improved, also. Female voices sound more pleasant and soothing. SmOoTh.

Overall, this amp makes the music much more enjoyable. It livens up whatever you are listening to and makes it more musical

P.S. Just to let everyone know, I was comparing this amp to no amp at all. There was obviously a huge difference, and for those of you who don't have an amp, I demand that you buy one right this second (I also think that the Supreme is a good amp compared to many others, and think it is worth the price). In fact, if you don't, I'll come to your house, drive you to the hi-fi store, and force you to buy an amp while I hold a gun up to your head.

the supreme is a very nice amp. I listened to the supreme with HD600s w/cardas cables and I thought the combo worked great. Congrats on your soundsystem.

I'm still working the portable scene... until I get money to get some home equipment.
