I'd like to replace my Cowon iAudio X5L 30GB.

What's wrong with it :

1. Heavy ;
2. Thick ;
3. Hard disk : flimsy ;
4. A bit outdated : screen, etc.

What I love :

1. Sound quality ;
2. Sound quality ;
3. Did I mentioned sound quality ?
4. Battery life (~20h) ;
5. ReplayGain (with RockBox) ;
6. Good Equalizer (with RockBox) ;
7. Good Tags' navigation (with RockBox; a bit slow sometimes...)

What I want :[*]Sound quality : equal or better (difficult challenge, isn't it ?);[*]Battery life : about the same or better ;[*]Thiner ;[*]Lighter (up to 100~120g) ;[*]Flash memory (8GB or more) ;[*]Tags' navigation.[/LIST]
It would be used with UE Super.Fi 5 Pro, UE Triple.Fi 10 Pro, Westone UM2.
Various music genres (trip-hop, electro, rock, folk, classical...).
