Hello,

I found a nice car switch with a nice blue led on Ebay and was wondering how I could use it as a Power On/Off switch in a project. It's rated at 12 VDC and 20A, how can I put it between my AC current (120VA) and toroidal transformer?

I'm new to DIY.

Thanks

Laurent

What is the AC Volts rating for the switch?
That is what you need to know. If it is 120v or 240v then yes, you can use it.

You won't be able to put 120V through that. You could use a relay to use the switch, though.
