hi,
remembering how well the koss 35 work with the ety adapter, i would like to try it with the sony cd3000. but first i wanted to know if the using the adapter on the sony would damage it in anyway? i would be plugging it into a meta42. thanks for any help.

If this is the er4s-p adaptor, not possible to damage anything. It is only a little resistor inside the cable.

Try it out at low volume first, then crank it up and see how it sounds with the resistor in the loop.
